Clear the category so that it is not matched to any invoice, expense or other document:
- Go to ‘Bank Transactions’ in the main menu
- Select the correct bank account
- If the transaction is 'confirmed' and shaded in green, press 'Edit'
- Check the box to the left of the transaction line
- Alternatively, you can open the expanded view of the transaction and simply press the 'X' alongside any attached documents to remove them.
To match manually match an invoice or expense:
- Select 'Split/Attach' to open the expanded view
- Press 'Attach / Match document'
- Select 'Invoice' or 'Expense'
- Choose the relevant document to match to the transaction
- Select the correct invoice or expense from the list
- Select 'Confirm Selection'
- Press 'Done'
- Press 'Confirm' and the invoice or expense will be marked as paid and will then appear in the VAT report:
Additional information:
If your VAT is not in Cash accounting basis (Invoice basis) and the invoice is outside the range of the VAT report, clicking “Include Historic” will include those old invoices in the return.
