Typically when choosing any Income category, it should appear on your Profit & Loss report.
You should be aware that Profit & Loss has two modes, to view including or excluding unconfirmed transactions.
It may be possible that your income transactions are "unconfirmed" in your Bank Transactions screen. By default, the Profit & Loss doesn't show unconfirmed transactions. To check this, you can preview your P&L 'including' 'unconfirmed transactions':
- Click 'Reports'
- On the 'Reports' dashboard, in the 'Profits and Loss' section, click 'Include unconfirmed Transactions', and then you will be able to view the transactions that you have not yet confirmed.
You can also access the same information through the 'Accounting Reports' section:
- Click on 'Profit and Loss'
- Click 'Show Filters' to bring you to the same option to 'include' or 'exclude' unconfirmed transactions
