To add shipping and delivery charges to your invoices and quotes, you need to create a new service on the 'Product and Services' page by following the steps below:
- Go to the 'Products and Services' page by selecting the link in the menu on the left-hand side of your dashboard
- Select 'New Product or Service'
- Ensure the word 'Service' is highlighted in green, indicating that you are creating a service, not a product.
- Populate the fields with the information about the shipping fee \ delivery charge
- Click the 'Advanced' tab to assign the Income Account and link to a category
- Click the relevant VAT% that applies to this service.
When you create your new invoice, you can select the shipping fee \ delivery charge by clicking 'Add a Product or Service' from your invoice template.
